The Big Bear Courthouse is located at 477 Summit Blvd. in Big Bear Lake, California. As of January 6, 2021, the San Bernardino Superior Court has reestablished court services for residents of the Big Bear Valley. It’s important to note that the services offered have been limited. This includes non-courtroom services including non-cash payments, traffic school sign-ups, payment extensions, scheduling of court date and general information. The Big Bear Courthouse also provides the option to appear on traffic, non-traffic arraignments and misdemeanor modifications.
All other traffic and non-traffic infraction matters are heard at the Barstow Courthouse.
All family law, firearms petitions, domestic violence, adoption, small claims, landlord tenant, civil harassment, and civil name change matters are heard at the Victorville Courthouse.
All general civil, unlimited and limited matters are filed and heard at the San Bernardino Courthouse (Civil Division).
All probate, conservatorship and guardianship matters are filed and heard at the San Bernardino Courthouse (Probate Division).
All criminal felony and misdemeanor matters are file and heard at the San Bernardino Courthouse (Criminal Division).
