The Pasadena courthouse is part of the Los Angeles Superior Court system.   Pasadena courthouse is located at 300 East Walnut Street in Pasadena, California 91101.   To get to the Pasadena courthouse most people will take either the 210 freeway or the 110 freeway.  Located north of downtown Los Angeles, the Pasadena courthouse is located in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains.   Pasadena is known worldwide for the Rose Bowl, the Rose Parade and the pedestrian mall on Colorado.    People the world over see Pasadena on television and do some serious California dreaming.   The Pasadena courthouse will quickly shatter those California dreams.   Upon entry you are immediately greeted by a system of color coded lines on the floor that will make you feel like you are already in the county jail.  Follow your line with your head down, work your way through the cold building, and find out which line you are going to spend a few hours in.

Pasadena courthouse also include the Pasadena traffic court.  The Pasadena traffic court clerk’s office includes both the county employed court clerks as well as the dreaded collection agency of GC Services.  GC Services is the correct window for those unfortunate enough to have a failure to appear or FTA which may be holding or suspending your California Drivers License or even an out of state license.    For many people, the visit to the Pasadena courthouse starts with waiting over an hour in line, only to be told when your reach the clerk that you actually need to go to a different window to deal with GC Services.     The Pasadena traffic court line is not a happy place.    The line often wraps through the cold halls of the courthouse as hundreds of Angelinos wait for the chance to talk to one of the precious few traffic clerks.
